Pergostyle to invest 2.6 mln euro in new Bulgarian factory

Turkish company Pergostyle will spend BGN 5.1 million ($2.8 million/€2.6 million) to build a new factory for the production of exterior aluminum and glass systems, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth announced.

The company will create 20 jobs at the planned factory, to be located in the village of Krepost, in the southeastern municipality of Dimitrovgrad, the ministry said in a press release on Thursday.

Production is expected to start in 2025.

The investment is aimed at expanding the presence in Bulgaria of the Turkish company, which last year registered a Haskovo-based subsidiary, headed by majority owner Ilhan Albayrak. The new factory will also broaden the Turkish pergola maker’s production and warehousing capabilities, contributing to higher output volumes destined for export to more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
